Somali

A
Member of Review Committee based in UK, Mr. Abdirahman

website said: "Since Worldwide Web become the instrument
of news and communication, Somali Leadership Foundation
(FAL-SAN) will announce its winners on this page".
FAL-SAN
believes in the inherent dynamism of the Somali people
and their capacity to overcome today's extraordinary challenges
in the social reconstruction of its society. It is also
in the purity and firm believe that there are potential
individuals/groups whose capacity, if and when invested,
can have huge impact towards a social change. FAL-SAN
believe if prominent social actors engage in and allocate
funds for building a caring community it would create
an environment that produces a new and vibrant leadership
in the communities inside Somalia.
Mr.
Abdirahman pinpointed that some of the principal activities
of FAL-SAN are: respect of human dignity,
share resources with less fortunate, pluralism, health
social leadership, and call for openness, firmness, responsiveness
and trust. Abdirahman also added "The site will be
a forum where Somalis inside and outside could exchange
ideas pertaining to rebuilding process of Somalia"
Following
years of brutal clan warfare that devastated the country,
FAL-SAN has taken a leading role in awareness
activities around the world about the prevailing situation
in Somalia. FALSAN awards Somalis who,
through their work, has made an important contribution
reinforcing and promoting peace, dialogue and the principles
